AI recap drafts are now available to all tutors
The AI-assisted session recap — which drafts a 3-bullet summary of what was covered, what's next, and what to practice — is now live for every tutor on the platform. You review and finalize; the AI handles the first draft.
Monthly meetups launch in 8 cities
Starting this month, Gogos is hosting in-person tutor meetups in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Austin, Seattle, Boston, and Miami. Attendance is optional but tutors who attend rate their experience significantly higher.
New S-Rank tier unlocks a 12% rate increase
We've added a new S-Rank tier — S+ — that unlocks automatically when you maintain a 4.9+ rating and 95%+ completion rate for 90 consecutive days. Tutors who hit S+ see an automatic 12% rate bump.
Background check recertification is now annual
To maintain the highest trust standard, all tutors now recertify their background check once per year. Gogos covers the cost. You'll receive a 30-day advance notice before your renewal window opens.
Whiteboard v2 is live — now with persistent canvases
The whiteboard tool has been rebuilt from scratch. Canvases now persist between sessions with the same student, annotations export as PDF, and the tool works reliably on iPad and Android tablets.
Gogos tutor platform launches publicly
After 6 months in private beta with 200 tutors, the Gogos tutor platform is now open to all qualified applicants. S-Rank certification, direct deposit payouts, and the full session toolkit are available from day one.
