Tutor Agreement

The contract every Gogos tutor signs.

Plain-English version of what we expect from you and what students expect from you. The legal text is in the full agreement — this is the operational version.

What we expect from you

Show up and be present
Arrive on time, keep cameras on, and give the session your full attention. Chronic no-shows or late arrivals are grounds for removal.
Stick to the booked subject
Teach what the student booked. If they want help in another area, end the session, and they can rebook for the right subject.
Maintain session records
Submit an accurate recap after every session. The AI drafts it — you verify and finalize within 10 minutes of ending.
Keep communication on-platform
All scheduling, payment, and tutoring communication must stay within Gogos. Moving sessions off-platform is a contract violation.

Student rights you must respect

No off-platform solicitation
You may not recruit students to platforms outside Gogos, offer private tutoring, or exchange personal contact info.
No homework completion
You can guide and explain, but you may not complete assignments, write essays, or solve problem sets for submission.
Confidentiality
Information shared in sessions — student names, grades, personal circumstances — stays confidential and off social media.
Zero tolerance for harassment
Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct toward students results in immediate removal.

Compensation & payments

Transparent rate structure
Your rate is set at onboarding based on subject tier and S-Rank score. Rate increases happen automatically at each S-Rank level.
Weekly direct deposit
Earnings are batched weekly and deposited every Friday for sessions completed Monday–Sunday of the prior week.
Cancellation policy
Student cancellations within 2 hours: you receive 50% of the session rate. No-show from student: you receive 100%.
Chargebacks and disputes
Dispute a session rating or payout within 7 days via the portal. Gogos Safety reviews all disputes within 3 business days.

Grounds for termination

S-Rank drop below 4.0
Two consecutive months below a 4.0 rating and 90% session completion rate results in automatic removal from the platform.
Policy violations
Off-platform solicitation, homework completion, harassment, or background check fraud result in immediate permanent removal.
Background check failure
Failing the annual background check recertification removes you from active status until the issue is resolved or appealed.
Voluntary departure
You may close your account at any time via Settings. Pending payouts are disbursed within 14 days of account closure.
